Wholesale Lighting & Home Decor Trends for 2026: Natural Fiber Pendants & Hospitality Demand
Natural-fiber lighting is a 2026 demand signal
In hospitality and retail interiors, natural textures are not a trend—they’re a design direction. Woven pendants and chandeliers make spaces feel warm, organic, and premium.
What’s popular in 2026
- Pendant lights with woven texture (boho / coastal)
- Statement chandeliers for lobbies and restaurants
- Coordinated sets for multi-room projects
How to order efficiently

Why natural fibre lighting keeps specifying
Woven pendants have outlasted the trend cycle that introduced them, for a practical reason: they solve a problem hard surfaces create. Hospitality interiors trend toward stone, glass and polished concrete, all of which are acoustically live and visually cold. A woven shade absorbs sound, diffuses light into a warm pattern, and reads as handmade at a distance. That combination is difficult to achieve any other way at the price.
What is specifying in 2026
- Oversized single pendants over dining tables and reception desks — 60 to 120 cm diameter, used as the focal object in the room.
- Clustered small pendants at staggered heights over bars and communal tables.
- Statement chandeliers for lobbies and double-height spaces, usually custom-sized to the void.
- Coordinated sets — the same weave across pendants, floor baskets and wall pieces, so a multi-room project reads as one design.
The technical questions to settle before you order
Electrification
We supply the woven shade. Wiring, sockets and certification are handled at destination by your electrician or fit-out contractor, to your local standard. This is normally what a specifier wants — electrical compliance is jurisdictional and a shade certified in one market may not satisfy another. Confirm it at quotation stage so nobody assumes otherwise.
Fixing and weight
Woven shades are light, which makes installation straightforward, but large diameters need a proper ceiling fixing designed for the span rather than the mass. Ask us for the finished weight and diameter before your contractor specifies the fixing.
Fire performance
Public-space projects frequently require flame-retardant treatment. Natural fibre can be treated, but it must be specified in advance — it is not something that can be applied after the shade is woven. If your project is a hotel lobby or restaurant, raise this in the first conversation.
Shipping considerations that change the price
Lighting is the most volumetrically expensive thing we ship. A 90 cm pendant is almost entirely air, and express carriers bill on the space it occupies rather than its weight. For any lighting order beyond a handful of pieces, sea freight is not merely cheaper — it is usually the only sensible option. Shades of graduated sizes nest inside one another and we pack that way as standard, which materially reduces the cube.
If your project combines lighting with baskets or bags, consolidate them into one shipment. Filling the gaps inside pendant shades with smaller items is the single most effective freight saving available in this category.
Getting a project quote
Send the room count, the ceiling heights, the diameters you have in mind and your site date. For projects we will quote the freight properly rather than estimating, because on lighting the freight is too large a share of landed cost to guess at.
